In multimedia, the ECS N8800GT-512MX introduces the revolutionary PureVideo HD technology into the GeForce 8800 series of products to make up the deficiencies in 8800GTX/GTS HDTV playback. With the ECS N8800GT-512MX platform, the hardware decoding of high definition video encoded with H.264 / VC-1 is without the CPU, thus perfectly implementing performance processing with video acceleration. Adopting the new generation of PCI Express 2.0 interface, the ECS N8800GT-512MX graphics card is compatible with the PCI Express v1.x, the new standard doubles the data transmission rate of each serial line from 2.5Gbps to 5Gbps, greatly increasing the SLI and the external bandwidth necessary for the graphics cards under high loads.
